Remember watching Channel 6 on a black and white Zenith in this very town back in '75, rabbit ears wrapped in tinfoil and my wife holding the antenna just so for the ball game. Sad to see her go dark. Thanks for the memories KWPS, they were good ones

My husband Walt worked the camera for the 6 oclock news for eleven years. He wont say it himself so I will. He says to tell everyone it was an honor and he never missed a single broadcast, not even the night of the blizzard. We will miss seeing you in our living room.

Grew up on the Saturday morning cartoon block and the Winter Carnival specials, my brother and me would race home from school to catch the end of them. Hard to believe there wont be a Channel 6 next year. End of an era for this county, plain and simple.

Thankyou to everyone at KWPS for keeping us informed all these years, especially through the hard stretch this fall. You were always honest with this town and we apreciate it more than you know. Wishing the whole crew well wherever you end up.

So sorry to hear the station is closing. I grew up watching the Noon Report with my mother every day at lunch. Thank you for everything. God bless

Great piece on the mine report last week. My brother in law works up at the Pine Creek workings and says u guys got it right, more than the state people did. Keep up the good work out there.
